CHENNAI, January 4, 2026 – The Hindu, in collaboration with Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS), will host the “Sustainability Dialogues” on January 6th, 2026, at Saveetha Medical College, Thandalam, Chennai. The event aims to tackle India’s growing environmental challenges through collaborative discussions and practical solutions.

The initiative will be inaugurated by Soumya Swaminathan, chairperson of the M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation, who will also deliver the keynote address. N. M. Veeraiyan, founder and chancellor of SIMATS, Chennai, will also be present.
