Los Angeles, CA – Walton Goggins is currently basking in praise for his chilling portrayal of The Ghoul in Amazon Prime’s “Fallout,” but fans are rediscovering another standout performance of his: Calvin Candie’s right hand man Billy Crash in Quentin Tarantino’s acclaimed 2012 Western, “Django Unchained.” The film, co-starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, Jamie Foxx, and Samuel L. Jackson, is experiencing a surge in popularity on HBO Max internationally, landing in the top 10 in countries like France and Italy.

While “Django Unchained” remains unavailable for streaming in the U.S. at the moment, industry analysts predict its recent overseas success will likely lead to its return to a major American streaming platform in the near future.

A critical and commercial hit upon release, “Django Unchained” garnered an impressive 87% critics score and a 92% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. The film, which tells the story of a freed slave who teams up with a German bounty hunter to rescue his wife from a brutal Mississippi plantation, also won two Oscars at the 2013 Academy Awards.
