Celtics Beat Kings 120-106, Fueled by Brown’s 29 Points

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Jaylen Brown’s dominant performance, with 29 points and 10 rebounds, propelled the Boston Celtics to a 120-106 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night. Brown’s scoring prowess continued as he reached 20 or more points in 12 of his last 15 games.

The Celtics, now 3-1 on their current five-game road trip, received significant contributions from Derrick White (16 points, seven assists), Payton Pritchard (16 points, six assists), and Sam Hauser (15 points).

The Kings (8-26), led by DeMar DeRozan’s 25 points, struggled to contain the Celtics in the final quarter. A tiebreaking 3-pointer by White ignited a Celtics surge. Sacramento momentarily threatened, closing the gap to 104-100, but Brown and White combined for an 11-2 run, securing a comfortable lead for Boston and sealing the win.

While Sacramento controlled much of the first half, Boston’s 3-point shooting kept them within striking distance. The Kings, who have now lost four of their last five games, will look to rebound against the Phoenix Suns on Friday. The Celtics will face the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday.
