The accused, identified as Subrahmanyam, 30, is alleged to have siphoned off ₹70.86 lakh by not depositing exact amounts in the ATM under his charge between February 6, 2024, and December 16, 2025, according to a complaint filed by C.V.S. Chandrashekhar, regional manager of BoB in Mangaluru.

The complaint also alleges that 4.400 grams of gold jewellery, valued at ₹55,000, were discovered missing from safe lockers during an inspection following the discovery of the cash discrepancies.
