USA Hockey Announces 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Rosters

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – January 2, 2026 – USA Hockey unveiled its highly anticipated rosters for the 2026 U.S. Olympic Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey Teams, as well as the U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team, live on NBC’s TODAY Show this morning.

The Men’s Olympic team boasts a mix of seasoned veterans and fresh talent, including returning Olympians Jake Sanderson and Brock Faber. A staggering 23 players are set to make their Olympic debut, including NHL stars such as Auston Matthews, Jack Eichel, and the Hughes brothers, Jack and Quinn. Team General Manager Bill Guerin expressed his excitement and confidence in the team’s ability to represent the country well and compete for gold.

On the Women’s side, the team features a strong core of experienced Olympians, led by five-time Olympian Hilary Knight and four-time Olympians Kendall Coyne Schofield and Lee Stecklein. Eleven players have previous Olympic experience, while 12 will be making their debut. General Manager Katie Million emphasized the team’s excitement, passion, and pride as they aim for gold in Milan.

The U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team welcomes back a wealth of experience, including five-time Paralympian Josh Pauls and four-time Paralympians Declan Farmer, Jen Lee, and Brody Roybal. Fourteen players were initially named to the roster, with two set to make their Paralympic debut. General Manager Dan Brennan highlighted the team’s blend of offensive power, defensive strength, and goaltending prowess as they pursue a fifth consecutive Paralympic gold medal.

The Men’s team will begin their Olympic journey against Latvia on February 12th. The Women’s team faces Czechia on February 5th. The Sled Hockey team starts their quest for gold against Italy on March 7th.
