Faridabad Woman Brutally Assaulted in Gang-Rape Incident

Faridabad, India – December 31, 2025 – A 25-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped in a moving van in Faridabad, India, and subsequently abandoned with severe injuries. The incident occurred on Monday night, December 29, 2025, after the victim accepted a ride from two men while waiting for transportation.

According to the police report filed by the woman’s sister, the two men, who have been identified as residents of Faridabad originally from Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, offered the victim a lift while she was walking home from a friend’s house in Sector 23. Instead of taking her home, the suspects reportedly drove towards Gurugram and sexually assaulted her in the van.

The victim was then driven around throughout the night and eventually thrown out of the vehicle near Raja Chowk around 3:00 AM, leaving her with serious head injuries. She was able to contact her sister, who found her and rushed her to a local hospital.

Faridabad police spokesperson Yashpal Yadav confirmed the arrest of the two suspects and stated that they are currently being questioned. A test identification parade is scheduled to take place soon.
