London, UK – 29th December 2025, 13:37 UK Time – West Ham United are preparing to face Brighton & Hove Albion at the London Stadium, hoping to break a frustrating streak of Premier League futility against the Seagulls at home. The Hammers have failed to win any of their eight previous league encounters against Brighton on their own turf, drawing six and losing two. Only Burnley have a worse record against a single opponent at home in the Premier League era.

Adding to the tension, over half (53%) of all Premier League meetings between the two clubs have ended in draws, a trend that includes three of their last four clashes.

West Ham manager Nuno Espírito Santo will be looking to change his side’s fortunes as West Ham have also lost 11 home games in the Premier League in 2025, equaling their worst record for home defeats in a calendar year.
