Biocon Employee Found Dead at Bengaluru Office
Bengaluru, India – A 26-year-old employee of Biocon was found dead on the company premises in Electronic City Phase-II on Tuesday afternoon. Police have identified the deceased as Anantha Kumar, a resident of Banashankari, who worked in the finance department.
Authorities stated that Kumar was discovered near the building, and preliminary investigations suggest he may have either jumped or fallen from the fourth-floor parapet. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, and no note was found at the scene.
“The reasons behind the death are not yet known,” police said in a statement.
Kumar’s body has been transported to a local hospital for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered at the Parappana Agrahara Police Station, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of death.
Biocon released a statement expressing their condolences: “We are deeply saddened by the passing of one of our employees in Bengaluru. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with the family during this extremely difficult time. As the matter is currently under investigation by the authorities, we are unable to share further details at this stage.”
