“Baylen Out Loud” Star Baylen Dupree’s Beer Revelation: “Tastes Like Popcorn Burps!”
Reality TV personality Baylen Dupree, star of TLC’s “Baylen Out Loud,” experienced her first taste of beer during a recent trip to a British pub. The results, according to Dupree, were surprisingly reminiscent of “burping up popcorn a day after eating it.”
In an exclusive sneak peek from the upcoming December 30th episode, shared by Parade, viewers see Dupree trying various U.K. delicacies. While other members of her family, including her mother Julie Dupree, expressed curiosity about her reaction to the beer, Baylen’s fiancé, Colin Dooley, suggested she was “the only human on this planet” to associate the drink with the flavor of day-old popcorn burps.
The culinary adventure didn’t stop at beer. Dupree also sampled traditional British dishes like bangers and mash, fish and chips, and bubble and squeak. Her reaction to the latter – a dish made with potatoes, cabbage, and carrots – was less than enthusiastic, resulting in a swift ejection into a napkin. Ultimately, she opted for French fries, but not without her trusty travel-sized bottle of ranch dressing, much to the amusement of her father, Allen Dupree.
Despite her somewhat unconventional palate, Baylen’s family embraces her quirks. As her mother Julie put it, “She’s awesome and weird. And, like, I love it.”
