Radhakrishnan inaugurated the 93rd Sivagiri pilgrimage at Sivagiri Math in Varkala, Thiruvananthapuram, today, emphasizing the inseparable connection between spiritual and social progress. In his address, Radhakrishnan lauded Sree Narayana Guru as a pivotal figure in Indian social reformation, placing him alongside Adi Shankaracharya as one of Kerala’s greatest contributions to Indian society. “If there was no Narayana Guru, there would be no reformation and no sanatana dharma in Kerala,” he stated.
