Tue Dec 30 06:50:00 UTC 2025: ## Suns’ Green Out Another 2-3 Weeks with Hamstring Injury

Phoenix, AZ – Phoenix Suns guard Jalen Green will remain sidelined for another two to three weeks as he recovers from a right hamstring strain, the team announced Monday. Green, acquired in the offseason trade that sent Kevin Durant to Houston, has been limited to just two games this season due to the injury.

The Suns stated Green is making “good progress” and was recently re-evaluated. Coach Jordan Ott echoed this sentiment at practice, saying, “Still great progress…I think everything’s headed in the right direction. Everything seems to be good.”

The 23-year-old initially missed the first eight games of the season before scoring 29 points in 23 minutes against the Los Angeles Clippers on November 6th. He aggravated the hamstring injury in the following game against the same opponent, playing only seven minutes.

The team initially projected a 4-6 week recovery timeline after the reinjury. With the end of the year approaching, Green’s recovery is trending towards the longer end of that estimate.

In other Suns news, forward Ryan Dunn will miss tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers due to a knee issue. Devin Booker’s second signature sneaker, the Nike Book 2, is slated for release on January 2nd.

The Suns are coming off a Saturday game against the New Orleans Pelicans that saw center Mark Williams ejected for a fight with Jose Alvarado, who was later suspended two games by the league. Williams received a one-game suspension.
