Netflix’s ‘Members Only: Palm Beach’ Uses Mar-a-Lago as Status Symbol

Palm Beach, FL – Netflix’s new reality series, “Members Only: Palm Beach,” is diving headfirst into the world of high society, using Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club as the ultimate measure of social standing. The show, which premiered Monday, follows a group of women navigating the exclusive circles of Palm Beach, Florida.

The first episode introduces viewers to Maria Cozamanis, a DJ who landed her entry into Palm Beach society by playing music at Mar-a-Lago events. Cozamanis even attended a birthday celebration for Rosalyn Yellin, a prominent figure in Palm Beach society who frequently posts photos with the former president.

Another cast member, Romina Ustayev, is trying to use her looks to gain acceptance in Palm Beach society, claiming that she looks like Kim Kardashian now. However, her fashion choices have already come under scrutiny. In one episode, a dress she wore to a Mar-a-Lago event caused controversy for being “disrespectful” to Marines.

While the show wasn’t allowed to film inside Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s club remains a central point of drama, with cast members discussing the importance of being invited to exclusive events. Taja Abitbol, whose husband has played in Trump’s golf tournaments and whose son attended the same school as Barron Trump, confirmed that Mar-a-Lago’s popularity has only grown since Trump became president.
