Los Angeles, CA – Rapper Cardi B has responded to criticism after she and boyfriend, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs, spent Christmas apart. Online commentators questioned the arrangement, as Diggs spent the holiday with children from previous relationships while Cardi B celebrated with their newborn son, as well as her other children.
In a video posted to X on December 29th, Cardi B addressed the backlash, urging fans to “calm down.” “Y’all been dragging me for three or four days… I can’t change s–t, I can’t go back in time. I already had a baby,” she stated, emphasizing that the situation cannot be undone.
Cardi B also appealed to her fanbase for support as she prepares for a tour in 2026, acknowledging the demanding schedule and time away from her children. “I need my support system, my fans, to love me… Don’t be dragging me. It’s enough,” she said.
Despite the distance, Diggs showed his affection, reposting a photo of Cardi B with their son and adding a playful comment. Cardi B’s own Christmas celebrations included multiple trees and a humorous attempt to capture the perfect family photo, as documented on her social media.
