New Delhi – December 30, 2025 – An off-duty Air India Express pilot was arrested and subsequently released on bail Tuesday in connection with an alleged assault on a passenger at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.

Captain Virendra Sejwal is accused of attacking Ankit Dewan near the security checkpoint of Terminal 1 on December 19th, according to Delhi Police.
