Indiana Legal Icon Ken Nunn Passes Away
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Ken Nunn, the prominent personal injury lawyer known throughout Indiana for his memorable slogan, “Call me, it’s just that easy,” has died. His law office announced his passing on Facebook, stating he died on Wednesday, December 24th.
Nunn founded the Ken Nunn Law Office in Bloomington in 1967. Starting with a card table and folding chairs, Nunn built his firm based on a strong desire to advocate for his clients, regardless of the odds. Over the past 50 years, the firm has become the largest personal injury practice based in Indiana, serving all 92 counties.
Known for his love of Indiana University and IU basketball, Nunn also passionately supported many charities. His law office stated that he will be remembered as a pioneer in the modern-day practice of representing injured people.
Nunn is survived by his daughter, Vicky Nunn, who, inspired by her father, has been part of the Ken Nunn Law Office since 2001 and will now assume leadership of the firm. “Forever Dad. I had no words yesterday,” Vicky shared on Facebook. “We loved him so much and we looked up to him to guide us. Dad was ALWAYS there to help, give his opinion or just give a hug. Dad, you will be forever missed and we love you.”
His grandson, Jimmy Nunn, also celebrated Nunn in an Instagram post, writing that his grandfather was the most important person in his life and had a positive impact on his family, friends, and the community.
