‘Stranger Things’ Season 5: Vampire Theory Swirls Around Eddie Munson, But Does It Bite?
HAWKINS, INDIANA – As anticipation builds for the final season of Netflix’s hit series “Stranger Things,” a persistent fan theory continues to circulate online: could Eddie Munson, the beloved metalhead who met a tragic end in Season 4, return as a vampire?
The theory, heavily discussed on social media and Reddit, draws inspiration from Eddie’s demise at the hands of demobats from the Upside Down and the Dungeons & Dragons lore of Kas the Bloody-Handed, a human who becomes a vampire after betraying Vecna. Fans speculate that Eddie could be resurrected in a similar, vampiric form, adding a twist to the Kas legend.
However, the most recent episodes of “Stranger Things” offer little support for this hypothesis. While Eddie’s death is acknowledged and central to Dustin’s character arc, there’s no indication of his supernatural return.

Kali describes Kay as a vampire figuratively for taking so much blood from her.
