DETROIT – Christmas morning will be a little brighter for approximately 5,500 homebound seniors and adults with disabilities in the Detroit area, thanks to the efforts of the Detroit Area Agency on Aging (DAAA), the DTE Energy Foundation, and hundreds of volunteers.
The annual Christmas Holiday Meals on Wheels event, now in its 37th year, will see DTE Energy employees gathering at Trio Community Meals early Christmas morning to pack nutritious meals, including airline chicken breasts, mashed potatoes, vegetables, rolls, and dessert.
