Bengaluru, December 26, 2025 – Govind Balasubramanian, a Bengaluru-based data scientist, has achieved a remarkable feat by scoring a perfect 100 percentile on the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025, securing the top spot in Karnataka. This success comes after three consecutive attempts to gain admission into the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB).

Balasubramanian, originally from Kerala, previously achieved a 100 percentile score in 2022 and a 99.97 percentile in 2024 but was unsuccessful in securing a seat in IIMB during the interview process. This year, he is optimistic about his chances of admission, stating, “This time I will get admission even if I get a seat in IIMB or IIM Ahmedabad.”

A graduate of BITS Pilani K.K. Birla Goa campus with a degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (2023), Balasubramanian credits his passion for Mathematics and Logical Reasoning for his outstanding performance on the CAT exam.
