Ranchi, India – Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, a name set to dominate the cricketing world, has etched his name in history books at the tender age of 14 years and 272 days. The young prodigy achieved the unthinkable on the opening day of the 2025–26 Vijay Hazare Trophy, becoming the youngest-ever centurion in men’s List A cricket.

Representing Bihar against Arunachal Pradesh, Sooryavanshi blazed his way to a maiden senior one-day hundred in a mere 36 balls. Not content with simply reaching the milestone, he continued his onslaught, reaching 150 in just 59 deliveries, setting a new record for the fastest 150 in men’s List A cricket.
