Thu Dec 25 04:20:00 UTC 2025: ## No Jackpot Winner in Tuesday’s Mega Millions Drawing, But California Ticket Nets $2 Million

[City, State] – The Mega Millions jackpot remained unclaimed after Tuesday night’s drawing, with no ticket matching all six winning numbers. The jackpot for the December 23rd drawing, estimated at $100 million ($45.5 million cash option), went unclaimed.

The winning numbers were: 15, 37, 38, 41, 64 with a Mega Ball of 21.

While the jackpot eluded players, one lucky ticket sold in California snagged a $2 million prize by matching five numbers.

Hope isn’t lost for those dreaming of riches, however. The jackpot is rolling over to Friday, December 26th, with an estimated prize of $125 million and a cash option of $56.9 million.

Drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. ET. Mega Millions tickets cost $2 per play and can be purchased in 45 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Players choose five numbers from 1 to 70, and a Mega Ball number from 1 to 25.

Remember, Mega Millions recently retired its Megaplier feature, replacing it with a built-in multiplier that automatically increases non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four, five, or ten times.

The largest Mega Millions jackpot ever won was a staggering $1.602 billion claimed by a single ticket in Florida on August 8th.

While the odds of winning the jackpot are approximately 1 in 290 million, the overall chance of winning any prize is 1 in 23. So, grab a ticket and try your luck on Friday!
