Houston Retailers Announce Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Hours
HOUSTON – Houstonians planning last-minute Christmas shopping or grocery runs should take note: many major retailers and grocery stores are adjusting their hours for Christmas Eve and closing completely on Christmas Day.
Major chains like H-E-B, Kroger, Target, Costco, Aldi, and Food Lion have announced their holiday hours. H-E-B stores will close early on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24) at 8 p.m., with pharmacies closing at 5 p.m. Curbside and Home Delivery will also have adjusted hours. All H-E-B locations will be closed on Christmas Day.
Kroger stores and fuel centers will close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, with most pharmacies closing at 4 p.m. Kroger stores, including its various subsidiaries, will remain closed throughout Christmas Day.
Target stores are open until 6 p.m. Christmas Eve but will be closed on Christmas Day. Costco is closed on Christmas Day.
