Wed Dec 24 04:40:00 UTC 2025: ## Kings’ Murray Out with Calf Injury Against Pistons
Sacramento, CA – December 23, 2025 – Sacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray left tonight’s game against the Detroit Pistons after suffering a right calf injury. The team announced Murray would not return to the game shortly after the second half began.
According to DraftKings Network reporter Brendan O’Sullivan, the injury occurred at some point during the first half, in which Murray played 20 minutes, scoring only two points on 1-of-4 shooting, with one rebound and one assist. The severity of the injury is currently unknown.
O’Sullivan notes that given the recent prevalence of Achilles injuries in the league, teams have been exercising caution with calf injuries, suggesting Murray could potentially miss some playing time regardless of the injury’s seriousness.
Nique Clifford started the second half in Murray’s place.
Stay tuned for further updates on Murray’s condition as they become available.
