Wed Dec 24 02:50:00 UTC 2025: ## Kraken Ride Belief, Puck Luck to Second Straight Road Win, Eye Opportunity Against Struggling Kings

LOS ANGELES – The Seattle Kraken are riding high after securing their second consecutive road victory, this time against the Anaheim Ducks. A renewed sense of belief, attention to detail, and a little bit of puck luck are fueling the team’s recent success.

Veteran forward Jordan Eberle and young star Shane Wright both emphasized the importance of the little things in winning games. Eberle highlighted Kaapo Kakko’s crucial puck battle that led to Matty Beniers setting him up for the game-winning goal. Wright described the opening power-play goal as “funny,” a sequence of rebounds and saves that ultimately saw Gaudreau capitalize.

“We are just finding ways to win,” said Wright, acknowledging the team’s previous struggles. “Obviously, we’ve had a stretch here that hasn’t been our best. But we feel like we’ve been in a lot of games… Now we’re on the other side of it, winning games.”

Eberle echoed the sentiment, stating, “I think the belief is a magical thing. You’ve got to just believe.” He noted the team’s resilience in the face of adversity, particularly with key players sidelined.

Head Coach Lane Lambert acknowledged the Ducks’ strong push in the second period, attributing the Kraken’s success to battling through the pressure. “Our guys battled,” said Lambert. “There was again a lot of commitment.”

The Kraken will look to capitalize on their momentum as they prepare to face the Los Angeles Kings, who are struggling with a 3-5-2 record in their last 10 games. The Kings’ power play struggles and recent loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets present an opportune moment for the Kraken to climb further in the standings.
