The increased security measures, effective from tonight through Thursday, December 25th, are designed to protect the public, particularly women and children, and prevent overcrowding at churches and other public gathering places.

Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners will oversee the operations, which include the monitoring of approximately 350 churches.
