Kumbakonam, India – December 23, 2025 (The Hindu e-Paper) – The 138th birth anniversary of famed Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan was celebrated as National Mathematics Day at the Government Arts College in Kumbakonam on Monday, December 22nd.
C. Durairajan, head of the Mathematics Department at Bharathidasan University, delivered a special address on the ‘Applications of Mathematics’ during the event. Durairajan also awarded prizes to students who won various competitions organized to commemorate Ramanujan’s legacy.
