According to police reports, the alleged assault occurred on Wednesday evening (December 17, 2025) after the shooter’s friend invited two men to meet them after the competition. The complainant stated that after her friend and one of the men left the room, the other man, identified as Satendra, raped her.

Following the alleged assault, the victim reportedly locked the three suspects, Satendra, Gaurav and the shooter’s female friend inside the hotel room, alerted another acquaintance, and contacted the police. Police arrived at the scene and arrested all three individuals on Thursday (December 18).

The victim had arrived in Faridabad on Tuesday (December 16) to participate in the shooting competition. After the competition, her friend invited Faridabad resident Gaurav to escort them to a metro station. Gaurav arrived with Satendra. The four decided to stay back in Faridabad and leave the next day, and booked two hotel rooms. The police said that they had a party in one of the rooms.
A case has been registered at the Sarai Khawaja police station. The suspects have been presented before a city court and sent to judicial custody, according to Station House Officer Rakesh Kumar.
