LOS ANGELES, CA – As Season 28 of NBC’s “The Voice” wrapped up its first Live Finale on December 15th, coaches Reba McEntire and host Carson Daly offered viewers a taste of their own holiday traditions by sharing cherished family recipes.
Country music icon Reba McEntire revealed her family’s beloved banana pudding recipe, a tradition passed down through generations and even available at her restaurant, Reba’s Place, in Atoka, Oklahoma. McEntire fondly recalled her mother making the dessert every Christmas.
Carson Daly, “The Voice” host and TODAY personality, shared his family’s Brandy Alexander recipe, a creamy cocktail dating back to the 80s. Daly humorously revealed his family loved the drink so much they named their family dog after it.
Both recipes are available on NBC.com for fans to try at home. The second part of the finale aired December 16th, where the Season 28 winner was revealed.
