The inauguration is expected to be conducted via video conference by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin. Initial production will focus on curd, with a capacity of 1,500 litres per day. Ice cream production will follow a week later.
The new facility, featuring sections for ingredient preparation, refrigeration, freezing, and packing, is designed to produce a wide variety of ice creams with diverse flavors. Its product line will expand to include kulfi, candy, buttermilk, and lassi, allowing Tiruchi Aavin to independently market a comprehensive range of dairy products.
