Barstool Sports’ Top Podcasts to Stream Exclusively on Netflix
Los Angeles, CA – Streaming giant Netflix has struck a deal with Barstool Sports to exclusively host video versions of its popular podcasts, “Pardon My Take,” “Spittin’ Chiclets,” and “The Ryen Russillo Show,” starting in early 2026. The agreement, brokered by UTA, will bring both new and select episodes from the shows’ libraries to Netflix’s global audience, beginning with the U.S. market and expanding to more countries thereafter.
While the video versions will be exclusive to Netflix, the audio versions of the podcasts will remain available on platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
“We’re thrilled to team up with Barstool Sports and bring their top video podcasts to Netflix,” said Lauren Smith, Netflix’s VP of content licensing and programming strategy. “This partnership broadens how our members connect with Barstool’s leading sports voices and delivers exactly what our members crave: unfiltered commentary, sharp takes, and undeniable humor. We look forward to giving fans another exciting way to engage with the conversations they love on Netflix.”
Dan “Big Cat” Katz, host of “Pardon My Take,” announced the deal on Wednesday’s episode, calling it “major news” and a “big deal” that will “open more doors” for the podcast, allowing behind-the-scenes staff to share in its success. Co-host Eric Sollenberger added that all three shows agreed that the deal will be beneficial for everyone involved and that “Netflix sounds like they’re gonna be a great partner.”
This move comes after Barstool Sports’ recent content deal with Fox, bringing the “Wake Up Barstool” morning show to FS1 and integrating founder Dave Portnoy into the “Big Noon Kickoff” college football pregame show, resulting in a 14% ratings boost.
The partnership with Barstool Sports is the latest in Netflix’s continued expansion into sports and live content, following its recent acquisition of WWE’s “Raw” from Warner Bros. Discovery for $82.7 million. Netflix boasts over 300 million paid members worldwide.
