Thu Dec 18 02:40:00 UTC 2025: ## Actress Nidhhi Agerwal Mobbed at Hyderabad Film Event, Sparks Outrage
Hyderabad, India – Actress Nidhhi Agerwal was reportedly left shaken after being mobbed by an unruly crowd at a song launch event for her upcoming film, “The Raja Saab,” in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Agerwal was attending the launch of the song “Sahana Sahana” when, upon exiting the event, she was swarmed by an out-of-control crowd.
Video footage circulating online shows the actress struggling to reach her car, surrounded by fans. According to reports, it was difficult for her to reach her car due to the crowd. Agerwal appeared visibly distressed and anxious. Her security detail had to work to extract her from the mass of people. Even after entering her vehicle, she appeared shaken by the incident.
The behavior of the crowd has drawn widespread condemnation, including from prominent singer Chinmayi Sripada. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Sripada criticized the mob’s actions, stating, “A pack of men behaving worse than hyenas. Actually why insult hyenas. This is what happens when a bunch of like-minded men are together in a crowd and they find a woman to harass. Why doesn’t god just pick these ones up and deposit them on another planet?!”
Several online users have echoed the sentiment, expressing concern for Agerwal’s safety and privacy. One user commented, “This is disturbing to see. Celebrities also deserve respect and private space.” Others have questioned the event management’s security arrangements, citing the large scale of the film and the apparent inadequacy of the security measures in place.
As of now, neither Nidhhi Agerwal nor the producers of “The Raja Saab” have released an official statement regarding the incident.
Agerwal, who debuted in Bollywood with “Munna Michael” (2017) and later transitioned to Telugu cinema, stars alongside Prabhas, Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan and Riddhi Kumar in the horror-comedy “The Raja Saab,” directed by Maruthi Dasari. The film is slated for release on January 9th.
