The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has classified the recall as Class II, indicating a potential for temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences. The contamination was found in granulated onion used in the dressings.
Costco has issued a specific recall notice to its members for Caesar Salad (Item #19927) and Chicken Sandwich with Caesar Salad (Item #11444) with “Sell By” dates between October 17, 2025, and November 9, 2025.
