Two Dead, Two Injured in Early Morning Motorcycle Collision in Kozhikode
Kozhikode, India – December 17, 2025 – Two young men were killed and two others seriously injured in a head-on motorcycle collision on Kozhikode beach road in Kerala early Wednesday morning. The deceased have been identified as Marvan Subair, 20, of Kannur district, and Jubaid, 19, of Kakkodi.
The accident occurred around 3:00 a.m. near a petrol station on the South Beach. According to police sources, the two motorcycles collided head-on. The injured youths were transported to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital and are receiving treatment for their grave injuries.
Local residents reviewing surveillance footage suspect excessive speed may have been a contributing factor in the fatal crash. Both Subair and Jubaid were pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
