Triumph Adds Tracker 400 to Modern Classics Lineup, UK Launch Set for 2026

Hinckley, UK – Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the Tracker 400, a new model joining its popular 400cc Modern Classics range. The flat track-inspired road motorcycle is slated for release in the UK for the 2026 model year, further expanding Triumph’s small-capacity offerings.

The Tracker 400 boasts a distinctive design with a flatter, stripped-back aesthetic influenced by the world of flat track racing. Key features include a boxy fuel tank, flyscreen, number-board-style side panels, and a color-coded seat cowl. It is built upon the same TR-series engine platform that powers the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400, and shares the Scrambler’s end-can.

The Tracker 400 is powered by a 398cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, now tuned to produce 42hp at 9,000rpm – a 2hp increase over the Speed 400. Torque remains consistent at 37.5Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

Key differences compared to the Speed 400 include a sharper rake angle (24.4 degrees vs. 24.6 degrees), a slightly heavier kerb weight of 173kg compared to the Speed 400’s 170kg, and a taller seat height of 805mm (versus 790mm on the Speed 400). Both models share the same braking components with a 300mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc. Also the same is the 17-inch wheel at both ends.

The new Tracker 400 sits alongside the recently unveiled Thruxton 400, and existing Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 in Triumph’s growing Modern Classics lineup.

Further details, including final pricing and availability for the 2026 launch, will be announced closer to the release date.
