DDA Announces Affordable Housing Scheme for Government Employees with 25% Discount

New Delhi, December 17, 2025 – The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has unveiled the Karmayogi Awaas Yojana 2025, a housing initiative designed to provide affordable housing options for serving and retired government employees. The scheme offers a significant 25% price concession on 1,168 DDA flats located in Pocket-9, Sector A1 to A4, Narela.

The Karmayogi Awaas Yojana is open to present and former employees of central and state governments, public sector undertakings, public sector banks, autonomous and local bodies, and government universities. A notable departure from previous DDA schemes is that applicants are eligible even if they already own property or land in Delhi or elsewhere.

The available units include 1 BHK, 2 BHK, and 3 BHK flats in a location near the Urban Extension Road-II and GT Karnal Road, and along the proposed Rithala–Narela–Kundli metro corridor. Post-discount pricing ranges from ₹34.03 lakh to ₹34.28 lakh for 1 BHK units, ₹79.81 lakh to ₹88.16 lakh for 2 BHK units, and ₹114.57 lakh to ₹127.11 lakh for 3 BHK homes.

Interested applicants can register through the DDA Aawas Portal starting December 19, 2025. A registration fee of ₹2,500 is required, along with booking amounts of ₹50,000 for 1 BHK, ₹4 lakh for 2 BHK, and ₹10 lakh for 3 BHK units. Flat bookings will commence on January 14, 2026, and the scheme will remain open until March 31, 2026. The DDA anticipates strong interest in the scheme, offering a substantial opportunity for government employees to own affordable housing in the capital.
