Lucknow: The fourth T20I between India and South Africa has been delayed due to heavy fog in Lucknow. The toss, originally scheduled for 6:30 PM at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Stadium, has been postponed indefinitely.
Umpires conducted a ground inspection at 7:00 PM but deemed the conditions unsuitable for play. Another inspection is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
In team news, vice-captain Suryakumar Yadav is ruled out due to a leg injury. This could pave the way for Sanju Samson to open the innings. Samson has been on the sidelines for the previous three matches. Shubman Gill is also expected to miss the remainder of the series due to a leg injury sustained during practice.
India currently leads the series 2-1 and can secure the series with a win today. South Africa, on the other hand, is fighting to stay alive in the series.
