MANGALURU, December 15, 2025 – Several parts of Mangaluru and surrounding areas are bracing for planned power outages due to scheduled maintenance and inspections by the Mangalore Electricity Supply Company (MESCOM).

According to The Hindu e-Paper, significant disruptions are expected tomorrow, Wednesday, December 16, 2025, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. in areas served by the 11 kV Kulur, Chilmibi, Marakada, and Kunjathabail feeders. Affected locations include Gandhinagara, Shanthinagara, Maladi, Panjimogaru, Rayikatte, Kulur, Kottara, Malemar, Bangrakulur, Mullakkad, Marakada, Kunjathabail, and the surrounding vicinity.

The entire Moodbidri taluk will also experience a prolonged outage from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
