House Democrats Release Epstein Photos, Pressure Trump for Full File Release
WASHINGTON, D.C. – December 13, 2025 – House Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released a batch of photos from the estate of deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein on Friday, including images featuring prominent figures such as former Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, and former Prince Andrew. The release is part of a larger trove of over 95,000 images obtained from Epstein’s estate.
The initial 19 photos were followed by roughly 70 more, depicting Epstein’s home, personal images, and a photo of him posing with a book about the scandal. The photos are separate from the case files the Department of Justice is facing pressure to release.
Some photos included individuals such as Trump, surrounded by women whose faces were blacked out. Committee Democrats claim redactions were made to protect potential victims.
House Oversight Committee Democrat Robert Garcia stated the release was aimed at pressuring the Trump administration to release the full Epstein files, which have been the subject of intense speculation. Garcia added that his staff had reviewed about a quarter of the images from Epstein’s estate.
“Donald Trump right now needs to release the files to the American public so that the truth can come out and we can actually get some sense of justice for the survivors,” Garcia said.
The Trump administration dismissed the photo release as a “Democrat hoax,” with White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson accusing Democrats of selectively releasing photos to create a false narrative.
Republicans on the House committee maintain that the documents reviewed so far show no wrongdoing by President Trump.
The photo release also included images of Steve Bannon, Richard Branson, Bill Gates, Woody Allen, Larry Summers, and Alan Dershowitz. All have denied any wrongdoing in their associations with Epstein. The men have denied any wrongdoing in their associations with Epstein, who kept many high-profile figures in his circle of friends. Some lawmakers believe more individuals could be implicated if the full Justice Department files are released.
Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), who championed the bill requiring the release of the files, believes the Department of Justice possesses evidence implicating others beyond Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
The Department of Justice has sought to have grand jury material released from several courts.
Democrats pledged to continue releasing photos in the coming weeks.
