Dharamshala, India – India has taken a commanding position in the third T20I against South Africa at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamshala. After winning the toss, India elected to bowl first, a decision that proved fruitful as they dismantled the South African batting lineup early.

South Africa struggled from the outset, losing wickets quickly. Arshdeep Singh struck first, dismissing Reeza Hendricks for a duck. Harshit Rana, brought into the team in place of Jasprit Bumrah, made an immediate impact, claiming the wickets of Quinton de Kock (1) and Dewald Brevis (2). Hardik Pandya then joined the party, dismissing Tristan Stubbs (9) and also reaching 100 T20I wickets. Varun Chakravarthy eventually took the wicket of Ferreira (20)

South Africa made three changes to their lineup, bringing in Bosch, Nortje, and Stubbs in place of Miller, Linde, and Sipamla. India made two changes, with Kuldeep Yadav and Harshit Rana replacing Axar Patel and Jasprit Bumrah.
