HBO Max Teases Explosive 2026 Lineup with First Look at ‘Euphoria’ Season 3, ‘House of the Dragon’ Season 3, ‘Lanterns’ & Larry David’s New Show

Los Angeles, CA – HBO Max has ignited excitement for its 2026 television slate, dropping a new teaser showcasing first-look footage from highly anticipated projects. The teaser promises a year packed with drama, action, and comedy, including the return of fan favorites and the debut of fresh concepts.

The teaser opens with Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint) from “House of the Dragon,” setting a tone of conflict and decision-making. Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) reinforces the sense of impending doom, hinting at Rhaenyra’s drastic actions in the upcoming season.

“Euphoria” Season 3 provided perhaps the most revealing snippets, offering a glimpse into Rue Bennett’s (Zendaya) life post-high school. The character is seen both partying and isolated in a church, with a voiceover suggesting a life far from her wishes. Fast-paced scenes show Lexi (Maude Apatow), Maddy (Alexa Demie), Nate (Jacob Elordi), Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Jules (Hunter Schafer) in various moments, suggesting the core cast will continue to have significant roles. The teaser concludes with Rue seemingly facing a new, dangerous situation involving a mysterious cowboy character.

DC Universe’s “Lanterns” also made a splash, featuring Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan training Aaron Pierre’s John Stewart. Tense dialogue about readiness is cut short by a dramatic scene in which Hal jumps from a moving car, leaving John to plummet off a cliff.

Comedy fans rejoiced at the sight of Larry David alongside Jerry Seinfeld in period garb for David’s untitled sketch comedy series.

Beyond these highlights, the teaser also included footage from Lisa Kudrow’s “The Comeback” Season 3, Richard Gadd’s “Half Man,” “Dune: Prophecy” Season 2 and more.

HBO Max’s 2026 teaser suggests a year of bold storytelling and high-stakes entertainment for viewers.
