Meghan Trainor Announces New Album “Toy With Me” and 2026 North American Tour
Los Angeles, CA (December 7, 2025) – Pop sensation Meghan Trainor is gearing up for a big year, announcing her seventh studio album, “Toy With Me,” slated for release on April 24, 2026. The album’s lead single, “Still Don’t Care,” a jovial anthem about self-acceptance and ignoring negativity, is available now.
Trainor revealed the inspiration behind “Still Don’t Care” stems from her own experience with online criticism, particularly regarding her fitness journey. The song embraces a message of resilience, set against a backdrop of 1980s-inspired pop production and features backing vocals from Pentatonix’s Scott Hoying, as well as Trainor’s own family.
“Toy With Me” promises to be a mix of self-love anthems, cathartic expressions of anger, and tributes to family. Trainor shared that her children, Riley and Barry, are even featured on a track titled “Little One,” a lullaby expressing a parent’s wish to keep their children young forever.
The album’s creation process was intense, with Trainor admitting to pushing herself too hard, leading to stress-related health issues. She also challenged herself by collaborating with new songwriters, resulting in a more collaborative and ultimately fulfilling creative experience.
In addition to the album release, Trainor will embark on a North American tour in 2026, supported by Icona Pop. This will be her first tour since “The Timeless Tour” seven years ago. “I know I can survive it and it can be really fun,” Trainor shared.
