Rookie Tight Ends Fannin, Loveland Poised for Fantasy Football Impact in Week 14
NEW YORK, NY – December 7, 2025 – Fantasy football managers looking for a tight end boost in Week 14 should look no further than two standout rookies: Harold Fannin Jr. of the Cleveland Browns and Colston Loveland of the Chicago Bears. While both have shown flashes of brilliance, fantasy football analyst Ethen Hutton of Sports Illustrated is leaning towards Fannin for consistent production this week.
Fannin, considered a steal from the 2025 NFL Draft, has been a reliable target for the Browns, amassing 51 receptions for 505 yards and three touchdowns this season, currently ranking as TE11 in PPR leagues. Despite some inconsistent quarterback play in Cleveland, Fannin leads the team in receiving and faces a favorable matchup against the Tennessee Titans this Sunday.
Loveland, after a slow start, has exploded onto the scene in recent weeks, highlighted by a massive 29.8 PPR point performance in Week 9. His high ceiling makes him an intriguing option, but Hutton cautions that Loveland’s inconsistency, splitting touches with other talented Bears’ receivers, makes him a riskier play.
“While Loveland’s recent performances have been eye-catching, Fannin’s consistency throughout the season is what gives him the edge,” says Hutton. “He’s become a staple of the Browns’ passing attack and should see significant volume against the Titans.”
Fantasy managers should monitor both players’ situations leading up to kickoff, but Hutton believes that Fannin’s consistent role in the Browns’ offense makes him the safer and potentially more rewarding play in Week 14.
