LSU Tigers to Face Houston Cougars in Texas Bowl

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The LSU Tigers have received an invitation to the Texas Bowl and will face off against the Houston Cougars on Saturday, December 27th, at NRG Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m.

This marks the second consecutive year the Tigers will compete in the Texas Bowl, after their 44-31 victory over Baylor in 2024. LSU finished their regular season with a 7-5 record, concluding with a narrow 13-17 loss to Oklahoma. Their opponent, the Houston Cougars, boasts a stronger 9-3 record.
