Hyderabad, December 4, 2023: Telangana residents should prepare for a significant dip in temperatures as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad forecasts an intense cold wave sweeping across the state for the next week. Fog and mist are expected to blanket several districts until December 9th, potentially impacting visibility and travel conditions.

While the IMD has not yet issued an official cold wave alert, weather enthusiast T. Balaji, known for his accurate predictions, anticipates a severe cold snap lasting for the next 10 days, including a chilling start for Hyderabad beginning tomorrow, December 5th.

Yesterday, the mercury plunged to a minimum of 10.4 degrees Celsius in Kumuram Bheem district, making it the coldest place in the state. In Hyderabad, Maredpally experienced the lowest temperature at 16.7 degrees Celsius.
