Infamous “Pulsar Suni” Arrested in Actress Assault Case: A Criminal History Unveiled
Kochi, India – N.S. Sunil, infamously known as “Pulsar Suni,” has been identified as the prime suspect in the 2018 assault case of a prominent Malayalam actress (case number 100118/2018). Suni, a native of Kodanad, Perumbavoor, has a long criminal history, including charges of motorcycle theft, drug possession, illegal money transfer, and involvement in several hit-for-hire schemes.
Despite his criminal background, Suni was known in film circles as a mild-mannered driver. He allegedly leveraged this facade to secure the contract for the actress’s assault. Suni reportedly stalked the actress and attempted to gain access to her on multiple film sets, working as a driver. When she began working in other language films, Suni temporarily abandoned his efforts. He is believed to have made two prior attempts to capture compromising images of the actress.
When the actress returned to Malayalam cinema, Suni resumed his efforts to get close to her, displaying excessive subservience. In January 2017, Suni worked as a driver in Goa, where the actress was shooting. He transported her from the airport to her hotel, a detail that reportedly helped the actress identify him during the assault.
On February 17, the day of the incident, Suni was present when the actress was to be transported from Thrissur to Ernakulam. Despite being in the office to collect payment, Suni claimed to be unavailable for the drive and suggested Martin as an alternative, indicating a conspiracy between the two men.
Suni’s criminal activities extended beyond the assault plot. In 2014, he was arrested for robbing a KSRTC bus passenger of ₹400,000 after spraying pepper spray in his eyes. He was also implicated in a motorcycle theft case investigated by the Kunnamkulam police. Police suspect Suni traveled to Dubai under the name “Sunil Surendran” in 2013, possibly linking him to illegal activities in the region.
Suni’s association with motorcycles dates back to his school days when he earned the nickname “Pulsar Suni” after stealing a Pulsar bike in tenth grade. His family claims to have no contact with him.
Pulsar Suni was arrested while attempting to surrender at the courthouse. He arrived on a motorcycle, scaled the compound wall near a temple, and entered the courthouse before being apprehended by police.
