Sat Dec 06 21:20:00 UTC 2025: Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss Hilariously “Transfers” to AT&T in NIL Ad

OXFORD, MS – Ole Miss Rebels quarterback Trinidad Chambliss sent social media into a frenzy Saturday with a viral video that appeared to announce his departure from the program. The clip depicted a tense scene with friends and family pressing Chambliss about transfer rumors, leading to the reveal of a clever NIL partnership with AT&T.

“If you wanna win, you go with the best,” Chambliss states in the video, before answering a ringing phone and declaring, “I’d love to transfer to AT&T.”

The humorous campaign arrives just ahead of the college football transfer portal opening on January 2nd. While financial details of the deal remain undisclosed, the ad highlights Chambliss’s rapid rise to prominence since joining Ole Miss from Division II Ferris State in April 2025.

Chambliss initially served as a backup before seizing the starting role following an injury to Austin Simmons. He delivered a standout performance against Arkansas, throwing for 415 yards and leading the Rebels to a 41-35 victory.

Prior to Ole Miss, Chambliss enjoyed a stellar career at Ferris State, capped by a Division II National Championship win in 2024. He earned Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year honors and was a Harlon Hill Trophy finalist.

Chambliss’s journey exemplifies the growing trend of players successfully transitioning from lower divisions to the FBS level, making him a key example for talent evaluation in the transfer portal era.

The Rebels now await their postseason fate, to be revealed during Sunday’s College Football Playoff Selection Show.
