Bengaluru, December 6, 2025 – The Department of Computer Science at Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be) University recently concluded a six-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) focused on emerging trends in cybersecurity. Sponsored by AICTE-ATAL, the program, titled “Emerging Trends in Cybersecurity: Hands-on Learning for the Future,” aimed to provide educators with practical skills to integrate cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies into their curriculum and research.
Under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Fr. Augustine George, the FDP featured expert-led sessions covering a range of critical cybersecurity topics, including cryptanalysis, password cracking, forensic fundamentals, AI-based anomaly detection, and enterprise blockchain using Hyperledger Fabric. Participants also gained valuable real-world insights through an industrial visit to Sysfore Technologies.
The program is expected to empower educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
