Stalin today announced that a new flyover in Madurai will be named in honor of Velu Nachiyar, a prominent freedom fighter from Sivaganga known for her valiant opposition to British rule. The flyover, located at the Melamadai junction, is scheduled to open to the public on Sunday, December 7th.
The ₹150.28 crore infrastructure project spans 950 meters and features four lanes designed to significantly reduce traffic congestion in the busy area.
