Chennai, India – December 6, 2025 – IndiGo passengers continue to face disruptions at Chennai airport, with a significant number of flight cancellations still impacting travelers. While some flights have resumed departing since 3:00 a.m. Saturday morning, including services to Pune, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur, Coimbatore, and Kochi, widespread cancellations persist.
According to the Airports Authority of India (AAI), as of 10:30 a.m. today, 48 out of 93 scheduled IndiGo flights from Chennai have been cancelled. Cancelled routes include major cities like Guwahati, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, as well as services to Port Blair, Lucknow, Visakhapatnam, Kolkata, Patna, Kochi, and Thiruvananthapuram.
Authorities have stated that only passengers with confirmed flights on the updated departure list provided by IndiGo are being allowed into the terminal. The airline has shared this list with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and AAI.
This ongoing situation follows flight cancellations experienced on Friday. Passengers are advised to check with IndiGo for the latest flight information and to confirm their flight status before heading to the airport.
