Parvatipuram, December 5, 2025 – A.P. Nirudyoga Joint Action Committee State president Samayam Hemanth Kumar appealed to Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu today for a wage revision for approximately 530 workers at Visakhapatnam Port. Kumar, who also serves as Honorary President of the Visakhapatnam Port Pool Khalasis and Workers Welfare Association, met with the Chief Minister in Bhamini, Parvatipuram-Manyam district, to present a formal request.

Kumar highlighted that the port workers are currently earning significantly less than one-quarter of the salaries paid to regular employees.
