Golden State Warriors Add Two Games to 2025-26 Schedule After NBA Cup Results
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Dub Nation will have even more opportunities to cheer on the Golden State Warriors in the 2025-26 season! The NBA has announced the addition of two games to the Warriors’ schedule as a result of the recently concluded Emirates NBA Cup.
The Warriors will host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday, December 12th, at 7:00 PM PT at Chase Center. Just two days later, they’ll travel to Portland to face the Trail Blazers on Sunday, December 14th, at 6:00 PM PT at the Moda Center.
The schedule adjustments come after the Warriors’ disappointing 104-100 loss to the Houston Rockets in the NBA Cup finale on Wednesday. Prior to the start of the Wednesday’s game, with the Memphis Grizzlies’ earlier win over the New Orleans Pelicans, both the Warriors and Rockets were eliminated from contention for the cup.
Currently, the Warriors hold a 10-10 record and are looking to rebound from a recent slump, having lost four of their last five games. They will have a chance to improve their record as they host the New Orleans Pelicans this Saturday at Chase Center.
